about shooltzsaver

shooltzsaver is a high performance, multithreaded, three-dimensional, interactive and extensible screen saver for windows 95/98/nt/2000. most important features of the program are:

• performance: display various ray-traced, animated objects (sprites) floating and spinning. smooth animation and high frame rate are achieved by using multithreading capabilities of the operating system (especailly on windows 2000). directx is not required.
• interactivity: press the right mouse button to open control center window. you can change all the animation parameters there and instantly see the results. play with orbits, shapes and backgrounds. your settings can be saved for future use as schemes.
• extensibility: use new sprites (bmp and avi files) from sprite gallery updated weekly or create them yourself.
• sound playback: play mp3, m3u, wave and midi files.
• scroller: display smoothly scrolling message using any font
• randomizer: switch schemes at runtime, use evolving orbits
